About
Meet Coach Maya
Maya played Division I tennis at UC Berkeley before spending four years on the ITF futures circuit. For the past 12 years she has coached everyone from first-time players to nationally ranked juniors across San Francisco. Her lessons are upbeat, technical, and always built around live-ball play — you'll leave every session with one clear cue and a lot of ball contacts.
Teaching style
High-energy and technical, with a heavy dose of live-ball drilling. Maya breaks strokes into one or two simple cues, then immediately pressure-tests them in point play so improvements stick under match conditions.

Reviews
Verified student reviews for Maya
“I'd been double-faulting for years. Maya spotted the toss issue in the first ten minutes and rebuilt my serve with drills I could repeat on my own. Three lessons later I'm hitting my spots under pressure.”
Rachel T. · Noe Valley
“Every lesson has a plan, every drill maps to a real match situation, and Maya keeps it fun the whole hour. I've moved up a full USTA level since the fall.”
Devon M. · Inner Sunset
“My 14-year-old was about to quit tennis. Maya rebuilt her confidence, and now she's asking for extra court time. Can't recommend her enough.”
Priya S. · Marina District
